To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Engineer – Component Engineering in Coimbatore.
What a typical day looks like:
Responsible to support different design/Manufacturing site for Product, Part, drawing and other design related process and maintenance of various business-related documents including datasheets, functional processes, policies, engineering drawings, engineering changes, project reports, specifications, product proposals and product / Part documentation.
Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information & approved vendor lists in global component database.
Create a component database for all the Electrical/Electronic & Indirect materials Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets.
Validate MPN and provide Alternates
Monitor Component EOL and manage the component obsolescence Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
4 to 7 Yrs of exp with Qualifications BE, ECE, EEE, E&TC , E&I.
Good English communication skills.
Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering industry preferably in electronics.
Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN’s) to Purchasing and Engineering
Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.
Knowledge of any design software’s software like OrCAD, CIS, Allegro desirable
Excellent communication
Good Analytical & Logical reasoning
