About The Job
We are seeking a dynamic
Key Account Manager to join our talented team at Danone for a
12-month maternity cover role. This pivotal position involves managing the pharmacy channel customer base, including wholesalers and retailers, where you will have a tangible impact on business performance.
As a Danone Nutricia expert, you will work across a varied customer base, including Symbion and Sigma pharmacy wholesalers, as well as leading pharmacy banners such as Terry White Chemmart and Cincotta. You will drive business in the Danone Nutricia Specialised Nutrition and Adult Functional portfolios, delivering the sales plan and commercial calendar. This will be achieved with a focus on building and maintaining key customer relationships.
This role is open to applicants from both Sydney and Melbourne.
Your
responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
- Be the primary contact for the major pharmacy wholesalers and reatilers in Australia, developing strong relationships at head office with key stakeholders
- Build and align Joint Business Plans with customers that are consistent with our customer and category strategy, delivering mutual win-win outcomes
- Create and implement strategic plans to grow the pharmacy channel
- Ensure regular tracking with retail partners, including change / course correction when required to ensure delivery of primary metrics
- Lead the Category Review Process, including partnering with the Danone Category and brand Teams to ensure favourable outcomes to shelf, ranging and merchandising across all retail formats
- Work collaboratively with our Danone pharmacy field team to excel with in market executions
- Develop strong relationships with Brand, Category and Field Management Stakeholders to ensure highest level activation in retail customers
About you
You are an energetic professional with a natural flair to connect with people and build meaningful relationships. You may currently be a high performing Account / Category Executive or Territory Manager who is eager for your next career step in Sales. Perhaps you already have some Account Management experience and are keen to join a market leading company with a fantastic portfolio and truly global opportunities. Above all you enjoy taking ownership & responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility & pragmatism.
To be successful you will also have
- A minimum of 12 months professional sales account management experience with in FMCG Sector
- Pharmacy channel experience preferable but not mandatory
- Strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated experience in relationship building skills, influencing skills, and negotiating with a broad range of stakeholders
- A hunger for a challenging opportunity in a fast-paced environment where you can learn and grow every day
- Graduate degree in business with a strong understanding of commerce and/or marketing preferred, but open to other educational backgrounds
