Job description

We are looking for a 2nd-line Application Support Engineer to be augmented into the Development team.

Responsibilities

Document, classify and prioritize Incidents and Change Requests in accordance with the severity levels
Diagnose and resolve Incidents or escalate resolution to the appropriate area of support (development team, platform vendor)
Implement small-to-mid-sized configurations in LIMS in accordance with the business requirements
Participate in grooming \ estimation sessions to be in the context of all functional changes
Ability to interpret logical and physical data models, understand relationship structures, and extend the schema as needed
Close collaboration with the Development team and end-users
Business and System analysis of medium-complexity Change Requests

Requirements

Practical experience in writing SQL scripts of mid-level complexity
Understanding of REST-API and ability to use Postman or another tool to submit API requests
Practical experience with end users' support and general Incident flow
Documentation skills
B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
Life Sciences domain experience (biology, plant genetics)
Understanding of JSON format
AWS on the minimal level of reading the logs and re-running lambdas
