Spendlab assists more than 200 government and commercial clients in helping them find and recover overpayments. Our team builds state-of-the-art technology systems that uses over 450 in-house developed algorithms and models to investigate large-scale accounting data and identify improper cash flows within our client’s procure-to-pay processes. We scrutinize invoice and payment flows for both large private and public organizations, identifying discrepancies on a no-cure, no-pay basis. Additionally, we support organizations in achieving cost savings through procurement and process optimization.


Responsibilities

  • As Telephone Operator in the Statements department, you will contact suppliers on behalf of our clients by phone to request lists of outstanding items.
  • You will inquire about the status of a previously sent written request (statement) and correspond with suppliers. It is important to maintain a good relationship with the suppliers.
  • Your tasks will include administrative control of outstanding item lists, collecting undue payments over the phone, email correspondence with suppliers, and administrative recording in the systems.

Qualifications
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of German, French, Dutch and/or Spanish is a plus.
  • Business communication: you approach suppliers in a friendly and tactful manner.
  • Proficiency with the Office suite.
  • Flexible contract, but you are generally available for at least 16 hours per week.
