Job description

Curtiss-Wright is searching for an innovative and experienced Director, of Marketing with our Global Marketing Group in the Defense Solutions Division! 

In this exciting role, the Director of Marketing will report directly to the VP of BD, Sales & Marketing and be challenged to create a harmonized, global marketing strategy for Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions division.  In collaboration with our outstanding Corporate Marketing and Communications team, you will have the opportunity to build, shape and transform Curtiss-Wright’s brand recognition around the globe.

Your Challenge:

Under your leadership, you will direct the overall marketing and communications organization and strategy for the Defense Solutions division of Curtiss-Wright, with the goal of driving sales and building brand awareness across multiple businesses and product lines. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan, overseeing campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various marketing initiatives and activities. You will manage a talented team consisting of four Marketing Leaders: Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, and Communication. 

Are you a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the defense industry and a proven track record of success in developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns?    

What you Bring:

  • 15+ years of experience as a B2B marketing professional, with a proven track record of success in the defense technology sector, particularly with a defense prime.

  • Deep understanding of the global defense industry, including experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and that of partner nations, and familiarity with defense contracting processes and industry regulations like ITAR, EAR and DISP.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team, demonstrated by leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Preferred USG S/TS security clearance
