We’re seeking a Social Media Producer to join our Greatest Hits Radio team in London.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new role at one of the UK’s biggest radio stations, targeting an audience with core memories from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
As Social Media Producer, you'll plan and produce engaging content, manage our social platforms, and work closely with presenters like Ken Bruce and Simon Mayo. Strong communication, project management, and editorial skills are key. You'll report to the Digital Editor, assist with forward planning, and collaborate across teams on wider projects.
This role offers the chance to work with high-profile talent in a collaborative environment. A love for eclectic music and an appreciation for radio will be a great fit. Ideal for someone ready to advance their career and grow their leadership and social media skills.
This will be a full-time position with hybrid working where you’ll work from home and from our London office.

You'll join a passionate, ambitious team, playing a key role in making Greatest Hits Radio the UK's top commercial network.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborating with the Digital Editor to plan content and help with day-to-day running of social accounts and deputise for them on occasion.
- Help with our internal Q/C process for content – making sure content is accurate and produced to a high-standard before it’s posted.
- Creating engaging social media content including social videos, graphics, photos and written posts tailored to Greatest Hits Radio’s audience.
- Assisting on shoots and content days – including music events, presenter shoots and high-profile guest interviews.
- Monitoring and analysing social media trends, audience behaviours, and platform updates to keep Greatest Hits Radio’s social media presence current and effective.
- Managing Greatest Hits Radio’s social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Mentoring and guiding other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Working with the wider Greatest Hits Radio team on station initiatives and projects.
- Flexibility to work out of hours occasionally – understanding that social media is reactive and time-sensitive.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in producing content optimized for various social platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, make decisions, and show resilience.
- Excellent project management, capable of handling multiple campaigns and meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable filming content on mobile and directing presenters and guests as needed.
- Solution-focused and adaptable when facing changes.
- Confident communicator who presents ideas and tackles challenges with positivity.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, with skills in designing thumbnails and graphics.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, content scheduling, and using analytics to guide strategy.
