Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

As a Medical Education Lead with the Stryker Interventional Spine team, you will oversee the strategic scheduling, planning, and execution of Medical Education events for healthcare professionals across the country. At Stryker IVS, together with our customers, we deliver clinically differentiated interventional solutions that relieve pain and improve quality of life. In this role, you will be integral in delivering on our purpose - making every moment matter for patients. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing team, salesforce, cross-functional partners, and customers to produce impactful in-person and virtual training programs focused on the safe and effective use of our fracture, oncology, and pain product portfolios.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the Medical Education and Marketing teams through the coordination and execution of educational events, including but not limited to, agenda creation, registration, travel arrangement, catering, venue sourcing, faculty management, product shipment, course communication, and feedback collection. 

  • Manage education requests and budget for a specified sales area, including cadaveric labs, anatomical model trainings, education dinners, and peer to peer engagements. 

  • Organize and promote both in-person and virtual educational programs. 

  • Support the development of education content in partnership with HCPs. 

  • Maintain all compliance requirements and necessary documentation, performing all activity in accordance with Stryker compliance standards, AdvaMed Code, and national and state regulations.  

  • Demonstrate technical competency in the Interventional Spine product offering and procedural flow.  

  • Develop strong understanding of our medical education and business strategy; provide input to future strategy. 

  • Assess and design programs, engaging stakeholders to understand their needs 

  • Network and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) 

  • Assemble budget worksheets, maintain log of expenses and final budget analysis 

  • Identity opportunities to decrease costs by evaluating current program, processes and associated costs. 
     

WHAT YOU NEED: 

 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

  • 4+ years of work experience required. 

  • 2+ years of medical device or medical education experience. 

 

Preferred  

  • Prior clinical experience (nurse/nurse practitioner, clinical specialist, OR).  

  • Prior event planning experience. 

$75,300 - $156,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 40%
