The role
As part of our Finance & Admin group, the EPA Project Accountant will work with the Naval Combat Systems Finance program lead, the EPA Project Accountant will be responsible for providing financial management to support the execution of the Enterprise Partnering Agreement (EPA) and other programs as required.
The EPA Project Accountant will be an active member of the Saab Finance Team and will contribute to the overall performance of the Finance Group.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Provide end to end financial support for the EPA and other Naval Combat Systems programs
- Develop program financial plans as required
- Establish and manage the monthly financial reporting, forecasts and budgets as required
- Develop IFRS 15 documentation and ensure revenue is being recognised in accordance with IFRS 15
- Review and validate tasking estimates
- Completion of monthly Variance Analysis Reports (VARs)
- Maintain a summary of all EPA tasking orders to provide a whole of program financial overview
- Manage financial reporting requirements of the customer
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Demonstrated experience in project financial management principles, including earned value management, project accounting, cost estimation processes, profit and risk sharing mechanisms
- Strong acumen with Excel, Power Point, PowerBI
- Proven ability to communicate in a positive manner with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, safety and duty of care and the quality management system
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
