The Education & Development Partner for Team Health, with oversight from the Director, Education, Development, and Special Projects (EDSP), assists with the division's education and development offerings. This position will work collaboratively with the Director to help implement an integrated approach to process improvement, education, certification, accreditation, grants, research, residencies, engagement, and awards.

Responsibilities:

A day in the life of a Education & Development Partner for Team Health at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

 

  • Assists in the creation of robust curriculums for team members & leaders.
  • Supports the development and implementation of programs and activities that create a positive workplace and improve team member engagement.
  • Assists with implementing TH's team member orientation, ongoing education, and competency assessment as required by internal HMH policies and regulatory agencies, ensuring completion of all HMH and Team Health orientation requirements in collaboration with the direct supervisors
  • Participates in regular meetings with direct supervisors of new team members to check on progress.
  • Assist with designing and delivering classroom, eLearning, and just-in-time learning experiences per division needs and strategic objectives.
  • Serves as a point person for additional resources to support team member learning and development, both during orientation and ongoing
  • Assists with reviewing and revising staff annual competencies, skills checklists, and remediation as needed.
  • Assists with maintaining and updating HMH New Hire and Annual Basic Training relative to Team Health topics with subject matter experts.
  • Collects and organizes relevant education-related data and metrics.
  • Participates in process improvement projects as appropriate while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Assists with leading projects for policy and SOP development/revision, as well as other projects as assigned
  • Monitors project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress and performance reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Meets project goals, especially related to deliverables, performance measures, and processes.
  • Serves as a superuser for Team Health¿s EMR and conducts end-user training of new hires
  • Completes other Duties as Assigned (e.g., lead/participate in additional projects/initiatives).
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare
  • Strong training development and delivery abilities
  • Proficient with Google Suite applications (Docs, Forms, Slides, Sheets)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

 

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Instructional design experience.
  • Previous experience facilitating training in various methods (virtual, classroom, just-in-time).
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Previous Occupational Health experience

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
