Join our dynamic sales team as an Intern in Chemistries and Supplies! This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your junior year coursework in a practical setting. You will engage in a focused hands-on project that will deepen your understanding of Agilent’s industry, infrastructure, and product offerings, with a specific emphasis on effective sales tactics.

As an intern in the Chemistries and Supplies Sales position, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a leading company within the scientific industry. This role offers insight into the sales process and customer relationship management, allowing you to understand how to effectively engage with clients. You will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world context, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Additionally, you will benefit from mentorship provided by experienced professionals in the field, guiding you as you develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to support various projects related to chemistries and supplies.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and sales opportunities.

  • Assist in the development of sales presentations and promotional materials.

  • Participate in training sessions to learn about Agilent’s products and sales strategies.

  • Gain practical experience in customer interactions and sales processes.

  • Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve sales tactics.

Qualifications

  • Completion of sophomore or junior year at an accredited 4-year university

  • Currently enrolled in a STEM degree program (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biology or related fields)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and customer needs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced sales environment

The US pay rate for this position is $29.04 - $31.00 per hour, plus eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits. Our pay rates are determined by role, level,

and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum intern pay for the position across the relevant US location(s). Within

the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including any job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training.
