Essential Functions- Responsible for systematically locating and researching business contact information to support the sales team by exploring online directories, leveraging social media, attending networking events, and using email verification tools.
- Promptly follows up on potential leads and schedules meetings for sales team as soon as a new lead reaches out. Generate a minimum of forty potential sales meetings opportunities per month.
- Collaborate with Director, New Business, and other internal/external stakeholders to develop sales campaign strategies.
- Provide service excellence to internal and/or external clients by responding quickly, appropriately, and accurately to communications. Facilitate answers; use appropriate language; provide regular updates to potential Partners when an answer is not immediately available.
- Under the guidance of the Director, New Business, build long term, value-based relationships with accounts, penetrating them for further business, and maximizing the revenue they generate. Monitor and manage the execution of services throughout the year.
- Understand deeply, and with accuracy, the products, programs, events, and services provided.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the unique needs of stakeholders through frequent, timely, and tailored communications. Foster a positive relationship between stakeholder and organizational brand.
- Maintains an awareness of key stakeholders, changes in points-of-contact, and activities/interactions with other Out & Equal staff. Research business and stay-up to date on business, economic, and regulatory news. Demonstrates an understanding of partner goals and needs.
- Collaborate with Director, New Business Development in securing new year-round partnerships with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, as well as emerging growth companies, privately held organizations, and startups.
Salesforce Management - Work with Salesforce administrators, IT, and Sr. Business Enablement Manager to support Salesforce management of new partner campaigns, reporting, and metrics.
- Manually enter new leads into Salesforce from various sources (e.g., website forms, emails, events).
- Conduct initial introductory calls to new leads, set reminders and create tasks for follow-up actions with leads.
- Regularly update the status of leads in Salesforce to reflect the current stage in the sales process.
- Generate and review reports on lead activity, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
- Identify and merge duplicate leads to maintain a clean database and accurate database.
- Create and manage campaigns, add, and import leads, develop campaign content, set up automation, track performance, and ensure effective follow-up and engagement with leads.
- Leverages opportunities from industry conferences to generate new business leads and support the sales team. Organizing collected information, following up with new contacts, and integrating leads into the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members to implement systems and processes in the overall management of the new business development and the Partnership pipeline.
- Assist in the monitoring and management of in-bound leads across channels; qualify leads and assign to sales team.
- Assist with reporting to show weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue for all Out & Equal products/programs/events, and individual giving.
- Attend national conferences, local networking events, and represent Out & Equal professionally to secure new partners for our events and programs.
Other Duties As Assigned - Other duties as assigned include event support, professional development activities, assisting with ad hoc projects and initiatives, budget requests, procurement, budget requests, admin/operational work, etc. as needed.
Qualifications (Licenses, Certifications, Education Related Experience)- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; equivalent amount of relevant experience can be substituted for degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- 1-2 Years experience in Salesforce
