About the role:

As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals helping enterprise financial services companies grow their businesses and deliver world-leading solutions to their clients. By providing industry-leading solutions, you’ll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests.

What you will be doing:

  • Sells products and/or services and develops new account relationships.

  • Solicits and maintains network of prospects.

  • Initiates contact with prospective customers to sell targeted FIS products and/or services.

  • Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts

  • Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets and competitive intelligence.

  • Prepares and presents proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources and tools.

  • Negotiates, structures and closes “deals” that meet customer expectations and FIS’s ability to deliver; utilizes appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.

  • Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies.

  • Meets sales goals and objectives.

  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

 What you will need

  • 10+ years experience in Sales

  • Strong experience selling to FSI Industry

  • Strong experience selling software or solutions

  • Strong experience in either Payments or Core banking solutions preferred

  • Experience in successful sales and complex deals/contract negotiations with Major Australian banks preferred

  • Relentless persistence to overcome the challenges that face successful high-performing sellers

  • Strong collaborative skills with leading presales and professional services colleagues

  • Pipeline hygiene using Dynamics to secure the support of FIS leadership to work with you to overcome sales challenges
