What Specialty Pharmacy Payor Access & Operations Support contributes to Cardinal Health


Reporting to the Director of Specialty Pharmacy Operations, the Payor Access & Operations Support Specialist is responsible for contracting with payors and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) to get hospital, health system, and clinic-owned specialty pharmacies into payor networks. 

Additionally, this position will support all aspects of specialty pharmacy operations, including specialty pharmacy accreditations, project management, and sales.
 

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy operations

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (service multiple time zones)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Time management skills and self-starter

  • 2+ years experience with specialty pharmacy network enrollment & operations

  • Infusion operations & billing experience (AIC, Home Infusion, pharmacy-based infusion suites), desired

  • Project management experience, preferred

  • Familiarity with ACHC and URAC specialty pharmacy accreditations, preferred

  • 340B experience, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $84,400-$123,400
