A day in the life of a Product Area Lead

We are looking for someone who is ready to take on a leadership role in our tribe Business Lending.  You will be in charge of 3 to 5 product leads and a total team of 25 indirect reports (CJA/DA) and you will report directly to the tribe lead Business Lending.

Here are your most important responsibilities: 

• Set a clear vision and define the roadmap to make it happen
• Together with the Leadership Team, guide the tribes to live our purpose and deliver upon it
• Deliver an outstanding customers experience for our clients thanks to state of the art journeys
• Strengthen the “ING way of working” while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model.
• Stimulate interaction between people, tribes, squads and stakeholders (within and outside your own Product Area and our Tribe).
• Create and maintain the new cross-cultural collaboration by creating awareness, respect & FUN

Product Area Lead is an exciting position that requires a strong profile. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with the following skills/experiences:

• Agile leadership to guide multidisciplinary scrum teams through change
• Strong background in IT change and delivery (including specific knowledge of the Pega way of working and the Business Lending landscape)
• Proven track record in defining, building & implementing a vision
• Expertise in building an outstanding customer proposition
• Ability to simplify complex needs and drive operational excellence
• Owner of a Master’s degree
• Excellent level of English
• A strong business acumen and a good knowledge of Business Lending and the Belgium lending market
