Job Title: Remote Paralegal (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,800 - 2,300 USD/month depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time with paid lunch from 12:30 to 1:30pm

Job Overview:

Our client is a small immigration firm located in Hempstead, New York. They have over 40 years of experience and they aim to provide the immigrant community with obtaining their residency and citizenship. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and friendly individual who has experience with legal intake to join their team. The Paralegal Position will require a lot of document review, and the drafting of Motions, Briefs, and Memorandums.


Responsibilities:

  • Preparing USCIS forms and collecting supporting documentation
  • Preparing removal defense filings
  • Assisting with U.S. visa petitions
  • Analyzing case documents
  • Performing legal research
  • Communicating with clients
  • Updating clients on the status of their application



Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • Must have University Degree at minimum
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to analyze documents and label them accordingly
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Research and translation skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. immigration laws/systems strongly preferred
