Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking an Assistant to support the Department of Homeland Security Customer and Border Protection (CBP).

This role will be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support to an executives.
  • Support the executives in ensuring daily operational activities and long-term strategic office priorities are being met.
  • Schedule meetings, maintain the executives’ calendars, and support preparation for meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
  • Ensure the executives are prepared for daily activities.
  • Coordinate information requests, agendas, meeting support materials, etc.
  • Draft and edit correspondence.
  • Draft and edits presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Log daily taskers in systems.
  • Draft and disseminate meeting minutes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 years of professional experience providing support in the federal contracting arena.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation.
  • Organized, professional, and anticipatory to ensure smooth operations for executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current CBP background investigation
