About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Global Strategic Finance Team with a focus on the North American market. This person will be based in Denver and will report directly into the FP&A Manager. They will work with a view to the full regional P&L for the North American region, including coverage of all revenue and expense planning and analytics. They will also work as a strategic partner within the region to design, implement, challenge and manage our pricing models and investments across new projects, while guiding our regional General Managers (GM) and their commercial management teams in managing their margin impact. Finally, close communication and collaboration with the Global Strategic Finance Team will be essential to consolidate results and deliver on budget and forecast cycles to Booking.com.
What you’ll do here:
- Improve on and build out extensive business casing on new regional initiatives with commercial teams in the North American market
- Support the commercial organization and functional leaders in uncovering pricing opportunities within all of our revenue streams, with our operating regional marketplaces and segments in mind
- Support the commercial organization and functional leaders in analyzing their expenses to identify opportunities for savings and margin improvement, as well as strategic planning for investment in teams and expansions
- Partner with and provide timely and action-inducing commentary to key FareHarbor and Booking.com stakeholders for ad-hoc and recurring reporting
- Play a leading role in revenue and cost planning within the budget and strategic planning cycles, partnering closely with regional commercial and functional teams
- Guide, steer and partner with the Analytics team with regards to strengthening data integrity, accuracy and relevance, as well as scoping automation of reporting and visualization of analyses that is intuitive to key stakeholders
- Coach your peers within the wider Finance and Strategy & Insights team, and seek feedback for your own development
Requirements:
- A growth mindset is highly valued
- Ideally 6+ years of finance business partnering experience supporting regional or commercial business units, primarily in a Commercial Finance or FP&A capacity
- Relevant experience in highly analytical finance, planning or strategy roles; while experience within a fast-growing SaaS business and/or Commercial organization (supporting Sales/ Account Management) would be favorable
- Experience working with the headquarters team for a global brand
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
- SAP, Anaplan and Tableau experience are advantageous
- Executive presence and attention to detail are essential to this role
- Proactive and persistent, with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Known for developing and delivering results on a timely basis
- Able to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-growing, team-first environment. Patience and flexibility will be useful attributes to have
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Salary Range: $88,000-$132,000, plus 10% bonus potential
