About The Role:

Gen3 seeks a talented Program Manager to play a key role in supporting program management for our federal client.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage designated program tasks from initiation through completion
  • Develop detailed task plans including schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and metrics
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure task alignment with overall program goals
  • Monitor task progress and performance, oversee scope and schedule management, and take corrective actions
  • Manage and guide task team members, fostering collaboration and communication
  • Escalate issues and risks to senior management and support mitigation efforts
  • Prepare regular task updates and detailed progress reports
  • Ensure tasks comply with all regulatory standards and requirements
What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience, preferably in government contracts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in using project management software tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field like Business or IT
  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
What's Desired to Have:
  • Previous experience supporting federal or state government agencies, especially federal financial agencies i.e. IRS or Treasury, is highly desired.

  • A minimum of three (3) out of the past five (5) years of residency in the United States is mandatory.
  • Candidates must possess either an active green card or citizenship.

  • Those selected for this role may undergo a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility criteria for accessing classified information or be eligible for security clearances.
