Business Developer - Process Applications, Electro Separation

  • Hybrid position
  • You can be based in Paris, Milan, Peterborough, or Barcelona
  • Ideally you will work from the office 1 to 2 days per week but this remains flexible depending on your level of experience

We have a new opportunity to join the team as a Business Developer - Process Applications, Electro Separation.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client portfolio, growing our pipeline, and increasing our market presence.
Our Business Developer - Process Applications, Electro Separation will be the champion of our growth in cutting-edge electro separation technology in a role that brings the opportunity to shape the future while advancing your career in a world-leading, global organisation.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Expanding our client portfolio and driving pipeline growth within the sector
  • Increasing our market presence
  • Developing and maturing qualified opportunities, bringing them to fruition
  • Partnering with our existing customers to generate new opportunities, working with them as a trusted advisor, and strengthening our relationships
  • Bringing demo and full-scale opportunities to budget quote stage and firm proposal stage 
  • Implementing our product lines and processes, leveraging existing equipment for larger flowsheets
  • Collaborating on proposal generation
  • Owning the pipeline of opportunities
  • Documenting and administering project timing, the key milestones, and any roadblocks (we use shared files and a CRM)
  • Sharing information across the team, giving and receiving support wherever necessary

Naturally, within this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about our product lines and processes and implement these into your daily work. 

Qualifications

What is your likely background?

  • Proven track record in electro separation technology. 
  • Probably already in the Hydrometallurgy, batteries, hydrogen, water, wastewater industry
  • Solid experience in business development or sales
  • Time served within the industry, or a Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field
  • Strong understanding of process applications 
  • A natural communicator who enjoys working with customers to find a solution
