Job description

Overview:

An exempt level position located out of the Reston, VA corporate office and reporting to the President/CEO of PCI Government Services. The Proposal Manager will have the responsibility of leading and contributing to all phases of the company’s proposal process in response to small to large or complex proposals including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and other solicitations. Duties include the development of proposal volumes, research and technical writing (with SME support), and developing/maintaining a proposal library/repository.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports Business Development team on large, complex proposals with proposal development activities, team communications, and document control to control the proposal development process.
  • Prepares and maintains proposal schedules and workspace
  • Schedules and coordinates logistics for meetings; which may include proposal kick-off meetings, stand-up meetings, editorial and quality/compliance reviews.
  • Coordinates proposal production activities (hardcopy, email, upload).
  • Coordinates and completes various proposal related forms.
  • Tracks action items and escalates issues in a timely manner.
  • As assigned, follows up with proposal contributors to ensure that assignments are completed as specified and within deadline.
  • Prepares or completes cross reference matrixes, forms, and outlines.
  • Performs compliance checks while compiling proposal documents or volumes to confirm that material provided by contributors meet RFP requirements or company guidelines.
  • Maintains proposal file structure and supports distribution of proposal files.
  • Formats proposals in accordance with PCI-WBO standard proposal templates; collaborating with the desktop publishing team for more complex formatting.
  • Coordinate graphics, desktop publishing, editing, and proofreading for all assigned proposals.
  • Archives final proposals and re-usable proposal content following final submission.
  • Proof work to minimize errors; reworks errors.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of GOVCON Proposal Development / Proposal Production experience
  • Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited college/university - - 10+ Years’ experience may negate the degree requirement
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Experience delivering bids that address complex requirements
  • A clear understanding of tactical proposal management with a sharp eye for details
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software; SharePoint and other communications related software programs
  • This position is eligible for working remotely
  • May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements
Pay Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr. EEO:
