JOB OVERVIEW:
This role is responsible for identifying capital equipment opportunities within Henry Schein accounts and advancing sales in this segment through the promotion of key company products and offerings. This is to be achieved through independent account calls as well as working with Medical Field Sales Consultants in the territory of responsibility.
The territory for this position covers: New York, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Ohio, Michigan, Maine and part of Kentucky
Ideal candidates should be based in New York, Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, or Pittsburgh, PA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.
Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization; assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to more complex customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers in partnership with Field Sales Consultants to build positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
Provide sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and monitor and adapt sales activities so these objectives are met. Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
Creates proposals, RFPs, and business reviews with key customers.
Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives to achieve their sales targets.

7-10 years medical sales experience

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically over than 50% within an assigned territory including local and overnight travel. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $95,040 - $166,320 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
