Position: Chief Executive Assistant - Remote | Work From Home

Transition Notice: As of January 1, 2025, this position will evolve into an independent contractor (1099) role, enhancing your flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Client Support: Anticipate client requirements and deliver proactive solutions, including managing scheduling conflicts, overseeing project management, coordinating event planning, and handling daily operations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop professional relationships with clients based on trust and reliability, demonstrating strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Email Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize client email correspondence.
  • Scheduling: Organize meetings for internal and external clients while ensuring availability across different time zones.
  • Executive-Level Support: Provide assistance with executive tasks such as travel arrangements, expense reports, and support for fundraising and lead generation efforts.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Superior communication skills and the capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in tools including Slack, Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, Canva, CRM systems, and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant administrative experience with a solid grasp of calendar management, travel planning, and exposure to startup or venture capital environments.
  • A high school diploma is mandatory; an Associate’s degree or higher is preferred for potential advancement opportunities.
  • Candidates must possess a fully functional mobile phone and computer (no Chromebooks or tablets) suitable for client platforms.

Compensation

  • Current Role (W-2 Position): $22/hour pre-tax for all plan levels (15 hours/month to 160 hours/month). You have the flexibility to choose between part-time or full-time arrangements, with client plans divided at a 55⁄45 ratio, where 55% is allocated to the assistant.
  • Transition to 1099: Effective January 1, 2025, the role will shift to an independent contractor position, offering competitive rates and flexible hours. Client plans will be split at 60⁄40, with 60% going to the assistant.
