Content Designer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Content Designer to join their dynamic team. This remote role is an exciting opportunity to shape customer experiences, establish brand voice, and advocate for improved experiences within a highly collaborative environment.

As a Content Designer, you will work closely with a diverse team of Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to create compelling and human-centric content strategies. Your work will be pivotal in designing and implementing innovative solutions for our client's search, product list page (PLP), and product details pages (PDP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop effective information architecture (IA)
• Interpret and utilize customer data to inform design decisions
• Build strong relationships with product and engineering partners to create effective workflows
• Apply robust storytelling, UX writing, content design, and content strategy skills
• Continuously advocate for improved customer experiences
  
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or Experience Designer specializing in writing, or 8+ years in a related role
• A deep understanding of how to create effective information architecture (IA)
• The ability to interpret and use customer data to make design decisions
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Robust storytelling, UX writing, content design, and content strategy skills
• A curious mind and a collaborative heart
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years of experience working in e-commerce or other large design environments
• Experience envisioning, defining, and modeling end-to-end, multichannel experiences
• Skilled in balancing an Agile work environment with a cohesive and holistic view of the customer journey
• Basic understanding of designing for WCAG 2.1/508 accessibility standards
