Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Database Administrator to become an integral part of our remote IT team. This position is vital for the management and optimization of our SQL databases, MS Access frontend, and SQL Data Portal. As we navigate through a transition period due to an upcoming retirement, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and enhancement of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a key contributor to our IT operations, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth data analysis and overseeing our database systems.
• Maintaining and improving data dictionaries, alongside the design of both physical and logical database models.
• Administering applications within the database to align with business requirements while ensuring the integrity of database schemas, data maps, and entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs).
• Cataloging and inventorying existing SQL and MS Access data systems to bolster our preparedness for future enhancements.
• Generating and modifying ad-hoc reports for end users as required.
• Supporting current applications and workflows to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
  
  

Required Skills

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:

• SQL Server Administration: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• SQL Database Design and Development: At least 7 years of experience, with proficiency in report generation.
• ASP Web Application and MS Access Database VB Programming: A minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Web Hosting and Microsoft IIS Web Server: Each requiring at least 4 years of experience.
