Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this crucial position, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional support to our clients while working from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Customers: Respond promptly to incoming calls, address inquiries, conduct research, and initiate processes to resolve customer concerns.
  • Process Billing Requests: Manage a variety of billing inquiries, including adjustments to account details, addressing payment issues, processing refunds, and providing payment histories and quotes.
  • Manage Payments: Facilitate manual premium payments and other service requests through checks or phone transactions.
  • Authorize Information Releases: Oversee the authorization process for information release requests.
  • Website Inquiries: Handle inquiries from our public website and those directed by Corporate Communications.
  • Verify Insurance: Conduct insurance verifications and follow up on outstanding items and funds to keep policies current.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions and transactions.

Required Skills

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in customer service; 1 year of accounting experience is preferred. Familiarity with the insurance sector or a call center is advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to perform tasks accurately and meticulously.

Compensation

  • Pay Range: \(18.16 to \)20.07 per hour, commensurate with relevant factors including location, education, experience, and skills.
