As the Director of Marketing, Planning and Strategic Operations:
You will have the opportunity evolve Marketing’s strategic operations by providing leadership in planning, projecting and measuring performance.
You will do this by being an expert in the customer, channel, business and competitor insights to strengthen how Marketing supports Walmart’s Business & Enterprise strategy.
You will create a discipline that enables Marketing to implement strategies to deliver our long term goals.
You will report to the Group Director, Marketing Planning and Strategy.
For this role, you must spend the majority of the work week either in our Bentonville, AR or Hoboken, NJ office; this is not a remote role.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if…
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 4 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years'experience in marketing or related field.
A minimum of a year's supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional projects. - You have experience with elevating the everyday and the impact it has in our customer’s lives.
- A love and curiosity for our Walmart customer with an ability to take that love and knowledge into key insights and strategies to win..
- You build strong relationships of trust and collaboration, ensuring the needs of the Marketing team and Marketing’s cross-functional partners are met.
- You bring an agile mindset.
- You show a bias to promote the business and can connect the health of our Brand to attributable business growth.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Driving strategic implementation: partner across the Marketing organization to accomplish long-range and short-term goals and strategic plans through data analysis, goal setting and evaluation and progress monitoring.
- Elevating storytelling and narrative: help shape the narrative of how Marketing’s outcomes are delivering for the business and brand, demonstrating the ability to understand complex data and translating into insights and actions to increase performance.
- Leading process development and change management: develop processes that ensure greater simplicity in work and improve outcomes; implement strategies to help teams prepare for change, create a vision and implement, then analyze and adjust real-time.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
