Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.

We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our world class team. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of Inventory or Sales Operations Analysts to support our growing business needs. These teams are responsible for supporting the US and international commercial teams with analytics, reporting, inventory reconciliation and data- driven insights to drive outstanding results. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a background in Sales Operations and strong communication and analytical skills. 
Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for team direction and performance. Establishes short- and long-term objectives and evaluates each direct report’s performance against those objectives.
  • Lead and motivate team through objective setting, performance management, regular communication and feedback, staff development, and appropriate rewards/recognition.
  • Coach and develop employees to enhance their impact
  • Act as a customer experience advocate who can help design, model, develop and champion customer experience enhancements across the business
  • Develop tools, methodologies and processes to improve & streamline operations
  • Conduct highly complex analyses and present results effectively to diverse audiences
  • Engage in frequent interaction with cross-functional partners including sales, marketing, finance and customer service teams to assist with questions, develop process improvements, and simplify complex processes
  • Coach team members to work with large data sets, glean intelligence from data, draw conclusions, and enabling recommendations to key stakeholder groups. 
Requirements 
  • Bachelor's Degree with a business or technology focus required; Masters preferred
  • 10 years of experience required in sales analytics, finance or similar analytical role
  • 3+ years leading direct reports or equivalent experience
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or related industry is preferred
  • Positive and enthusiastic, a highly proficient communicator and team player
  • Strong analytical skill set and detail-oriented
  • Understanding of building reporting/visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau 
  • Ability to efficiently read in data, analyze, and present data using Python, R, or SQL a plus. 

Market Range:

San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA) Market Range: $136,000 - $170,000
All Other US Locations (Outside of SFBA):
 $116,000 - $145,000
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
