The Director, Industrial Engineering Position
The Director of Industrial Engineering will play a critical role in overseeing the development and implementation of Customer First strategies to enhance the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our production, installation, and operational processes. This leadership position will drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization focusing on enhancing Service, streamlining workflows, and ensuring operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in industrial engineering principles, a passion for Service, and a proven track record of driving customer first mindset through operational efficiencies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
ResponsibilitiesProcess Optimization: Lead the analysis, design, and improvement of operational processes related to installation, WIP Management, and service operations, focusing on reducing waste, enhancing throughput, and optimizing resource allocation.Customer First Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality in installation and operations.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key departments including Treasury, Capital Markets, Revenue Management, Accounting, Operations, Dealer Support, Fulfillment, Software & Business Technology, and Sales teams to align strategies with business objectives.Technology Enhancement: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and tools (e.g., automation, data analytics, machine learning) to enhance operational performance and system integration across processes.Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain metrics to track performance against key operational goals and implement continuous improvement programs aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing cycle times.Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to support informed decision-making, performance tracking, and predictive maintenance for operations.Budgeting & Cost Management: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining product and service quality.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
