Job description

As a Software Developer specializing in backend and database technologies, you will work on database-driven backend development, focusing on maintenance, optimization, and custom client adaptations within the energy sector. This position offers flexibility and growth opportunities within a supportive, innovative company culture.

Note: This is a remote role, candidates can be located anywhere in Germany.

Core Responsibilities

Work primarily on backend database technologies for companies software, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing complex data structures.
Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of clients in the energy sector and carry out internal product development tasks.
Coordinate with product and project managers to integrate market and client feedback into the product lifecycle.
Contribute to creating technical specifications for projects, planning and executing tasks within a SCRUM framework using Jira as the project management tool.

Required Expertise and Skills

Essential Skills:

Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database systems.
Proficiency in UML and Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling.
Solid skills in software design and conceptual planning.
At least 3 years of professional experience.
Fluency in both German and English (min. B2)

Preferred Skills:

Direct experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Java, Spring 4, AngularJS, TypeScript, Hibernate, and Maven.
Understanding of processes and business workflows within the energy sector is an advantage.
