How it’s going (and growing)
With a talented team of 600+ Roofsters, our collaborative, can-do culture is what fuels our growth. In 2022, we closed on our Series E, raising $240 million, and have offices in California, Texas, and New York as well as many remote opportunities. Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software), RentPrep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors).
About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of our accounting and finance-related technologies for property management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, and operations, to ensure our product offerings align with business goals, enhance customer experience, and increase operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, for customer accounting and finance solutions in property management.
- Define and prioritize product features, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the property management business and the unique accounting and finance challenges faced by customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive products to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring transparency and effective communication with senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of technologies that enhance financial reporting, billing, payment processing, and tenant-owner financial transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred).
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in developing finance or accounting-related technologies.
- Experience in the real estate or property management sector is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed product decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
Compensation
$152,500 - $180,000 range on annual base salary or hourly . The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location.
Pay Transparency
Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors. Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
