The Role:
Validation Services is Sedgwick’s service focusing specifically on validation of buildings claims. When buildings are damaged it’s not just the bricks and mortar that are affected – it’s people. That`s why we need more people like you to make sure our clients can get back on their feet should the worst happen. It’s a fantastic opportunity within our innovative operation.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated new colleague to join our busy Home Claims team which is based in Glasgow. If you already have some Domestic Claims experience, we would also be keen to hear from home-based workers. However, you will need to attend the office occasionally so are likely to be based in Scotland or the North of England.
As a Claims Technician for our Validation Services product, you will pro-actively manage a caseload of building claims whilst providing support to our field surveyors, customers and clients.
Day to day you’ll support customers at the beginning of the claims process; record new claim information on our easy to navigate system, contact customers to verify information and offer reassurance, arrange visits for colleagues, confirm progress to customers and negotiate settlement where applicable.
This is a key role in our team to deliver the exceptional customer service our clients have come to expect from us. You’ll need to be calm, empathetic and professional, whilst evidencing an organised approach to your work and the ability to follow process.
