Job description

This role is charged with the responsibility of providing practical and commercially-focused compliance advice in regard to the Latin American operations, while managing relevant licence applications and ensuring that business conducts activities in a way which is compliant with all relevant license requirements. This includes acting as a liaison between the business and relevant regulators.

Responsibilities:

· Managing all licence applications and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant licences held by the company.

· Advising and counselling the organisation on a wide range of compliance issues and regulatory matters associated with the commercial operations, with an emphasis on structuring and implementation of complex business projects; More generally, you will be responsible for identifying compliance issues, providing analysis of business/operational/compliance risks and creating and implementing solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently

· Coordinating with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on various aspects of legal and compliance matters arising.

· Managing regulatory audits and inspections that may arise from time to time

· Managing relationships with legal counsels as required

· Keeping abreast of developments in approaches to regulation
 

Requirements:
 

· A law, other degree if a candidate has a significant relevant work experience in the compliance area.

· Desirable experience in compliance in the gaming industry (whether in the private or public sector). Experience can also be in complex compliance industries.

· Required English and Portuguese. Spanish would be a plus.

· Between 7-12 years of experience in compliance area
