Job description

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in API testing to join our dynamic team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our APIs and backend services. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Requirements:

B2 English level or Higher for fluent communication in English.
Proven experience of at least 4 years as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on API testing.
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong expertise in testing RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
Proficiency with testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar API testing frameworks.
Knowledge of version control tools like Git and experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to report issues clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar).
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report any defects or issues identified.
Create and maintain test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage for all API endpoints and business logic.
Conduct performance and load testing for APIs to ensure scalability and reliability under varying conditions.
