About the Team
Clari’s Deal Desk team are trusted advisors to the field organization and our cross-functional business partners - providing deal strategy and guidance, product and pricing expertise, world class systems and operational muscle, and strategic, data-driven insights. Striking a precise balance between revenue generation, flexibility, velocity, profitability, and risk management for the business, the Deal Desk team is critical to running revenue processes at Clari.

About the Role
Come run revenue at Clari! As Sr. Deal Desk Analyst, you will be a critical driver of revenue processes - working in lockstep partnership with sales leadership, account teams, and internal stakeholders (legal, accounting, finance, partnerships, professional services, and more). You will provide next level deal strategy, pricing and discounting guidance, commercial and contractual expertise to drive revenue, velocity, and scale in Clari deals. 

This is a fully remote opportunity, but is preferred to be worked from the Eastern time zone with an early morning schedule. Seeking a 6:00 AM EST start time.

Responsibilities
  • Deal copilot and close trusted advisor to sales leadership in your assigned territory
  • Support our US and International sales teams with deal structuring, price and cost modeling, custom commercial terms and conditions, proposal enhancement, and quoting support
  • Enforce appropriate pricing, discounting, and commercial guardrails through approvals while providing creative alternatives to drive revenue, unit economics, and high margins
  • Assist in driving process and system improvements to closure, working in close partnership with our Business Applications, Field Sales, Revenue Accounting, Finance, and Order Management teams. Perform UAT to support these initiatives, as required.
  • Build bridges and drive process velocity by representing the Deal Desk team on cross-functional projects and initiatives. Perform UAT to support these initiatives, as required.
  • Provide ongoing enablement to the field on pricing, deal strategy, booking policies, and commercial guardrails

  • Qualifications
  • 4+ years of deal desk experience or experience in a finance, sales operations, or revenue operations function
  • Strong creativity and knowledge of deal structuring principles 
  • Teacher mindset with great communication skills
  • Customer service orientation with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work extended hours during the end of quarter and high volume periods
  • Strong SFDC, CPQ, and Excel skills (analytics background a plus)
  • Knowledge of basic revenue recognition principles

    Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.

    The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
