ePOSITION OVERVIEW
The Recruiting Manager will oversee the entire recruitment process to attract, engage, and retain top talent for clinical and non-clinical roles. You will lead a team of recruiters, partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs, and implement best practices to ensure a seamless recruitment experience. This role requires travel (25-30%) to job fairs, conferences, and community events.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Develop, execute, and refine recruiting strategies aligned with healthcare industry standards and organizational needs.
- Identify talent pipelines, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and internal referrals.
Team Management & Leadership
- Coaching and mentoring recruiters to improve performance and achieve KPIs
- Workforce planning and forecasting to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing stakeholder relationships
- Change management experience, particularly in a growing organization
- Ability to foster a collaborative, performance-driven team culture.
- Train and mentor team members on recruitment best practices, compliance, and diversity initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify job requirements and create tailored recruitment plans.
- Provide market insights, candidate availability, and hiring trends to leadership.
- Partner with HR to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
Travel & Networking
- Represent the organization at healthcare job fairs, conferences, and networking events (up to 25-30% travel).
- Build strong relationships with universities, medical associations, and other healthcare talent sources.
Metrics & Compliance
- Track and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire).
- Ensure all hiring processes align with federal and state employment regulations (e.g., EEOC, OFCCP).
- Promote inclusive hiring practices and support organizational DEI initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in HR Management or Healthcare Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for clinical (e.g., RNs, physicians, PT, OT) and non-clinical roles CHHA’s, PCA’s, drivers.
- 5+ years in a management or leadership position, leading recruiting teams and/or managing complex hiring strategies.
- Extensive experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and healthcare-specific job boards (e.g., Health eCareers, Indeed Healthcare).
- Deep knowledge of healthcare labor market trends and regulatory requirements in recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with remote teams and cross-functional departments.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
- Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles in recruitment.
- Ability to travel up to 25-30% to attend events and meet with stakeholders.
