Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.

We are looking for hands-on engineering leaders with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned manager , with :

  • Highly collaborative approach to getting things done
  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects in a fast-paced and mutli-stakeholder environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage change
  • A stellar track record at managing obsolescence and developing a forward looking vision.
  • A strong technical background in shipping highly distributed and used products.
  • Grow and lead one or multiple engineering teams totaling 10+ engineers across the US to deliver critical services and components for the Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure organization
  • Lead projects that span multiple infrastructure domains including networking, storage, and virtualization
  • Provide technical direction and audit design decisions of their team
  • Cultivate best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
  • Drive operational excellence for their team's areas of responsibility
  • Collaborate with other team leaders on developing and presenting product roadmaps


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience of growing and leading successful teams
  • 5+ years of experience leading and successfully delivering large and complex technical projects from concept to production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

US: Hiring Range: from $84,700 - $251,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
