This remote opportunity is open to passionate and driven individuals based in Binghamton and Owego, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through estate planning procedures.
  • Draft vital legal documents, including wills and trusts.
  • Assist clients in establishing trusts, ensuring optimal protection of their assets.
  • Navigate the complexities of the Surrogate’s Court system with proficiency.
  • Oversee the administration of trusts and probate matters, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, providing comprehensive support throughout the buying and selling processes.
  • Review and analyze real estate documents, offering knowledgeable guidance.
  • Remain knowledgeable about current real estate laws and regulations.
  • Draft various real estate documentation as required during transactions.
  • Expertly address title insurance challenges as they arise.

Required Skills

  • Must be a licensed attorney in New York State with 0-3 years of experience (internships or clerkships will be considered an asset).
  • Strong ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient research skills, capable of delivering timely solutions to client inquiries.
