Financial Analyst - Remote Opportunity

Job Overview

In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting various technology leasing operations in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee technology leasing processes, including the preparation and organization of lease schedules.
  • Analyze data from diverse sources and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Provide research and support for vendor invoices, orders, and requests.
  • Maintain accurate employee and cost center information related to IT assets.
  • Ensure adherence to approved vendor agreements while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project costs, budgets, and financial controls for stakeholders.
  • Assess variances and trends while analyzing service rates and recovery mechanisms.
  • Assist with budget preparation, including necessary documentation and impact assessments.
  • Process invoices, reconcile purchase orders, and manage organizational IT expenditures.
  • Validate and process project expenses across various cost centers, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Execute payments via P-card and maintain thorough reconciliations and documentation.
  • Support application testing to verify functionality and maintain procedural records.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues while managing data across multiple SQL and application servers.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in large ERP systems along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with financial recording for IT equipment is essential.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Access is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
