Future Project | Lead Engineer Service Now - Peru

What success looks like in this role:

• Transforms business requirements and process/procedure work flows into technical designs that can be mechanized into automation routines using a modular design approach to allow for repeatability.
• Uses programming techniques and scripting languages to develop automation routines.
• Identifies and executes test cases to perform unit and integration testing of automation routines.
• Collaborates with Architects to engineer new related capabilities
• Complies with the development activities of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborates with the Automation Analyst, account and customer teams to deploy automation routines.
• Conducts code reviews to ensure the automation routines comply with development standards and perform according to the technical design.
• Identifies and executes test cases to perform unit and integration testing of automation routines and related procedures interfacing with API’s to manipulate cloud/infrastructure, based components.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Computer Science, related field of study and/or job experience.
• Deep experience in delivering infrastructure related services
• Diverse programming skills and experience.
• Expert level with ITSM platform(s) and ITIL processes.
• Subject Matter Expert level in developing and deploying automation routines.
• Highly experienced in Automation (process, health check and/or configuration management)
• Strong track record for being a self-starter and collaborating across global teams
• Effective communicator and mentor
• Experience with automation tools (ServiceNow Orchestrator/Integration Hub/ Flow Designer, Ansible, Foreman, or equivalents)
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools (Puppet, Ansible)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Expert level using documentation tools like Word, Adobe PDF, etc. for written communications
• Expert level using presentation tools like PowerPoint for presentations and verbal communications · Expert level programming experience using scripting languages like Python, Java Script, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience in integrations using RESTful APIs and web services. Ability to work with various data formats (JSON, XML) and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS) to ensure seamless integration between systems.
• Expert level with infrastructure administration (i.e. Windows admin, Unix admin, DB admin, etc.)
• Highly experienced with Incident Request and Change within ITILv3 · SDLC (Software development life Cycle) and Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)

Nice to Have

• SQL (queries, stored procedures, DML, etc.). Prefer Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent DBMS technologies
• Cloud Management Platforms like Right Scale or ServiceNow ITOM CMP
• Reporting tools like Power BI, etc.
