The Product Management Experiences team leads the end-to-end process of planning, developing, launching and managing TUI Musement’s global portfolio of 30,000 guided tours, day trips, boat trips, activities, entry tickets and more. We strive to offer the most relevant portfolio of experiences for our guests and clients, in order to maximise overall performance in terms of customer experience, revenue growth and profitability.

As a Product Development Specialist, you will play a key role in one of our largest strategic growth projects, ensuring the successful implementation and growth of our new flagship line of National Geographic Day Tours. You will work together with local teams and National Geographic to develop 500+ new unique and impeccable experiences across 145+ destinations and multiple distribution channels, by 2025.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Central point of contact to coordinate the offer co-creation and validation of experiences with our partner, National Geographic Expeditions (NGE)
  • Maintain the offer development implementation roadmap by destination and set-up tools to track (including timing, priorities and dependencies), reporting on progress and blockers to all project stakeholders
  • Work with L&D to deliver training to onboard new destinations and cascade the established guidelines to local Offer Development teams, ensuring they are clear on requirements
  • Become our internal expert on the work of the National Geographic Society and provide local teams with inspiration based on their research. Make suggestions for specific experiences in priority destinations and themes as needed
  • Validate that proposed products meet the established guidelines/criteria prior to submission to NGE
  • Consolidate specific requirements from sales teams and adapt tours where needed for operational reasons
  • Work closely with the commercial teams of each distribution channel to ensure that they possess all the tools to maximise opportunities for this product line
  • Identify and implement operational synergies to ensure that products can be distributed across all channels, including shorex, TUI Customers, B2B partnerships and B2C Open Market. Coordinate time to market of the inventory in each destination
  • Maintain quality standards, general rules for sourcing and contracting (Supply Management brief)
  • Together with L&D, develop content for Guides training and ensure its rollout with local Operations teams


ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Relevant experience in the “tours and activities” industry, especially in a Product, Supply or Operations role. Experience of Shorex is advantageous
  • Fluent English language, both verbal and written. Any additional language advantageous
  • Proven track record in successfully designing, developing and implementing new product related initiatives through excellent Project Management skills
  • Exceptional ability to work with multinational colleagues and gain buy-in from a range of stakeholders, balancing customers’ and suppliers’ needs
  • You will have a strong creative streak and be able to support your ideas with research
