Job description

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join the CO+I HR team providing strategic HR impact and enabling exponential global business growth through strong stakeholder management with the business and across HR ecosystem. As a strategic partner to the business, you will have an opportunity to enable greater leadership and organization effectiveness, improve diversity and inclusion and the operating rhythm of the HR organization. You will be operationalizing HR priorities, constantly extrapolating data insights that accelerate our momentum against key people projects, optimizing processes, increasing clarity and consistency, fostering a deeply collaborative inclusive culture, and creating enablers to accelerate business growth. This strategic role will be part of the CO+I HR team and will work primarily with the respective CO+I business leaders and global HR community.

Responsibilities

 Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Clarity & Alignment: Understands the business strategies of their assigned organization and executes people and organizational priorities to drive business decisions and achieve specific business goals.
  • Organizational Design: Executes the design of talent, structure, culture, and/or processes for an assigned organization, in partnership with other team members.
  • Organizational Diagnostics: Collaborates with peer HR disciplines to support organizational effectiveness efforts, including diagnostics and design to improve organizational health.
  • Projects, Programs, Initiatives, Change Design & Orchestration: Leads global projects and programs, develops project plans, and executes in partnership with key HR and business stakeholders. Adapts to new or changing structures (leadership or organizational), cultural change, or business-specific programs/processes (e.g., Frontier project, Rockslide, Ops 2-3) for an assigned organization. Assesses risks and benefits to ensure project feasibility and collaborates with business leaders or HR partners to develop effective change-management strategies and training materials.
  • HR Governance: Leads, manages, and drives clarity for CO+I datacentre growth HR governance committee. Ensures Human Resources (HR) are aligned across businesses and stakeholder businesses within the specific area and across Geos in partnership with GeoHR partners. Ensures HR information across the organization is accurate and up to date (e.g., immigration, mobility, offer governance). Drives compliance with Microsoft practices around HR activities. Shares recommendation for improving HR processes. Contracts with various stakeholders to ensure the work lands (e.g., CO+I HRBPs, GeoHR, HR Services, GTA, C&B, HR Consulting, Finance, Payroll, Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs [CELA]).
  • Organizational System: Leverages employee listening systems to gain a deep understanding of the current organizational culture and integrates culture ideals throughout key HR processes. Contracts with various stakeholders to ensure consistent, effective and compliant project implementation (e.g., HR Services, HR Consulting, GeoHR, GTA, Finance, Payroll, C&B, Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs [CELA]).
  • Leadership: Assesses data, interprets information, and presents insights and recommendations on leadership and team effectiveness and performance. Identifies needs for interventions to drive clarity and address gaps in strategy execution. Partners with Centres of Excellence to evaluate the effectiveness of the business strategy, model, and organizational structure to achieve business outcomes.
  • Talent: Executes the holistic people plan in alignment with business leaders, designs approach to help business leaders make decisions to internally develop talent, drives succession plans, identifies readiness gaps and plans, and partners with Talent Management and Global Talent Acquisition to align on the diversity and inclusion and strategic talent plan and promote an inclusive recruiting culture within the client organization. 

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology, or related field AND experience with HR or related experience (e.g., hiring, training, performance management) involving applicable employment laws and policies
  • OR equivalent experience.



Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology, or related field.  experience partnering with a wide network of global clients and across Human Resources to deliver effective business solutions and yield business results
  • General knowledge of employment / labour laws, work/employee councils 
  • Experience with change management, implementation of international initiatives
