High Value Asset Technical Lead
Key Role:
Act as the point of contact to coordinate with the HVA system information security officer, system owner, and all related assessors. Plan, schedule, and participate in assessments of all non-tier 1 HVA systems. Conduct HVA penetration testing on non-tier 1 HVA systems. Support program and project management activities, including Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAMs), quality surveillance, and the creation of essential project management documents such as charters, risk registers, risk assessments, project plans, communications plans, and other necessary documentation. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery of deliverables. Assist HVA Assessment Lead with customers and develop presentations as need to accomplish HVA program needs at the direction of the HVA government lead. Coordinate project activities to ensure all aspects are aligned with the project objectives and timelines. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure their engagement and support. Understand the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client. Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer support.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, and organizational requirements
Knowledge of new and emerging information technology and cybersecurity technologies
Ability to apply the methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization’s enterprise information technology (IT) architecture
Ability to communicate effectively in written technical reports
Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements
Ability to complete AES-HVA training program within 120 days of hire date
CISA HVA Technical Lead (TL) Certification
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field and 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or computer science, or 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or computer science in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience using Nessus or similar vulnerability scanner
Experience using Burp Suite or similar web proxy tool
Knowledge of common database management systems
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Master's degree in Cybersecurity
OSCP or GPEN Certification
Information Security certifications, including CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, or GDSA
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
