Job Title: Senior Accountant, E-Commerce - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

As a key liaison for our clients, you will utilize your accounting knowledge to facilitate timely and accurate month-end book closures. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive accounting functions, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Guarantee the precise and timely execution of month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Scrutinize and interpret financial data to detect any anomalies or discrepancies, implementing corrective measures as appropriate.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with designated clients, gaining insight into their distinct accounting requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documentation, address concerns, and deliver ongoing updates regarding their accounting progress.
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to client inquiries and requests, ensuring a high standard of satisfaction.
  • Continually evaluate existing accounting processes to pinpoint opportunities for improvements in efficiency and reliability.
  • Partner with management to adopt best practices, enhance workflows, and harness technology to fine-tune accounting operations.
  • Uphold compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and relevant laws.
  • Assist in the preparation of essential financial documents, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the auditing process by providing requisite documentation as needed.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting roles with a robust understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients' financials concurrently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical acumen and meticulous attention to detail, with a capability to identify and rectify accounting discrepancies.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office, with a readiness to quickly learn new software.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing workloads in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and compliance standards.

Qualifications
