Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to join our innovative team dedicated to transforming the agricultural sector through sustainable practices. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to optimize our supply chain processes, ensuring optimal product availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the aggregation of demand plans across various product lines and business units to generate precise forecasts.
  • Design and implement supply strategies that effectively harmonize demand with supply, considering production capacity, product capabilities, and lead times.
  • Align the supply plan with financial objectives to enhance overall profitability.
  • Create and evaluate long-term demand and capacity plans that integrate input from commercial, research and development, finance, and manufacturing teams.
  • Develop, track, and refine sourcing and production plans to maximize resource utilization and fulfill customer requirements.
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings, driving focus on planning and informed decision-making.
  • Prepare relevant data and materials for S&OP discussions, analyze trends, and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to advance world-class demand planning and S&OP processes, employing data to assess and enhance performance.
  • Spearhead network optimization strategies to reduce costs and elevate service levels.
  • Establish capacity simulation methodologies to conduct sensitivity analyses for growth scenarios.

Required Skills

  • 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain, emphasizing Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning within a manufacturing context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics is required (MBA or Master's degree is preferred).
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven insights.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with an emphasis on long-term planning and optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to a client-centric approach.
  • Proven project management capabilities with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial systems and manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints certification is a plus.
