Job description

About Us

Founded in 1996, our organization is anchored by a vision that prioritizes people over structures. Based in Dallas, TX, we are a premier commercial real estate services firm, executing billions in transactions annually across diverse property categories, including office, industrial, retail, healthcare, land, and data centers. Our operational ethos is shaped by our core values: intelligence, integrity, kindness, and enthusiasm. We invite you to be part of our team and embark on a meaningful career journey with us.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Advisor specializing in Data Center and Real Estate to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our Research Analyst Program, which welcomes recent graduates from a variety of fields including supply chain, technology, data analytics, real estate, design, and construction. The program offers immediate opportunities to engage in research and data analysis within the specialized industrial sector of commercial real estate, allowing analysts to gain invaluable insights into the operational and decision-making frameworks associated with asset classes such as food & beverage, cold storage, manufacturing, biotechnology, and life sciences. During this program, participants will cultivate six essential competencies necessary for success in specialized commercial real estate: labor market dynamics, transportation and logistics, facility planning, market insight, financial acumen, and legal understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge in program management, specialized labor analytics, site selection, investment management, and industrial project leasing.
  • Deliver research, analytical, and marketing assistance to the National Industrial Services Team.
  • Support labor assessments, facility planning, site selection, data analytics, and prospect criteria formulation.
  • Collect and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to uncover new business prospects.
  • Establish connections within the specialized real estate sector.
  • Coordinate sales pitch materials and assist with various special projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with financial principles and analytics.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Resourceful and capable of creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in areas such as Supply Chain, Technology, Statistics, Real Estate, Design, Construction, or Engineering preferred.
  • Prior internship or Co-Op experience in relevant fields is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an organized approach to work.
  • Demonstrated interest in specialized commercial real estate sectors (F&B, Manufacturing, Cold Storage, Life Sciences, Biotechnology).
  • Proven engagement in campus activities, ideally in leadership roles.
