The role in a nutshell:
 

The HR Services Manager (HRSM) plays a pivotal role within the Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) organisation, by providing expert HR advice to a range of global clients relating to Employment Laws in Romania and ensuring a seamless worker life cycle. This role may extend to other countries based on business requirements, offering a unique opportunity to influence and enhance our global HR services.

How you will make a difference:

  • Ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for all GEO workers by engagement in all steps of the onboarding process & attentive contact with the worker.
  • Ensuring the development and maintenance of comprehensive contracts, adhering to legal compliance.
  • Fostering a culture of active engagement with workers & clients, valuing their input and insights.
  • Minimizing offboarding risks through effective management of both voluntary and involuntary worker exits, including retirements. 
  • Ensure positive offboarding experiences for workers and clients by proactively providing clear and timely information to international clients from the start 
  • Identify and address gaps in processes, recommending changes to enhance competitiveness and mitigate risks. 
  • Ensure high-quality service and advice within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Take complete ownership of local market processes and results.
  • Apply and update HR policies, procedures, and work conditions as needed, ensuring communication and compliance. 
  • Support Payroll team, actively assisting the Payroll team from a local perspective.  
  • Participate in different projects as assigned by the immediate line manager. 
  • Support the team and line management with regular updates on employment law. 
  • Collaborate with and support local sales and cross-functional teams, providing insights and guidance from the local market perspective. 

What will give you an advantage:  

  • 5-6 years local Labor Law Experience 
  • HR or related field education, university preferred 
  • Confident and fully autonomous in broad HR aspects      
  • Fluent in local language (Romanian) & English is essential  
  • Problem-Solving & deadline oriented. 
  • Recognized interpersonal skills, team spirit and collaboration skills 
  • Service & customer focus
