Solutions Engineer

About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer at RISC Zero, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of blockchain technology by working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Through this process, you will contribute valuable insights and feedback to improve our product offerings. You will work on diverse projects such as building decentralized applications, crafting innovative smart contracts, and quickly prototyping to meet client needs. Your work with clients will inform the ongoing evolution of the Bonsai network. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create detailed technical documentation, develop and maintain demo applications, and stay at the forefront of blockchain technologies and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement decentralized applications on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin and Cosmos.

• Build production applications using Rust or similar programming languages.

• Gain a deep understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to develop customized blockchain solutions.

• Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable improvements for the product.

• Support application development by incorporating blockchain consensus changes and working across multiple blockchains.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong technical background with a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience designing and implementing complex solutions, preferably in the blockchain space.

• In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and experience with decentralized applications, smart contracts, and blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Cosmos, or Bitcoin is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Rust and/or Solidity is highly preferred.

• Solid understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and blockchain protocols a strong plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients.

• Proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
