Avantor is looking for an experienced Sr. Customer Pricing Analyst to support our Strategic Partners team in prioritizing customer deliverables and projects, as well as providing recommendations and solutions for pricing requests.

What we’re looking for:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business partnering role in a commercial setting, strategic and international business experience including engagement with high-level stakeholders.
Experience of identifying and developing business growth opportunities towards the delivery of profitable growth
Ability to be a project leader and be a self-starter
Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
High level of numeracy and analytical skills
Advanced Excel and data manipulation
Good working knowledge of SAP and other pricing/analytical software tools
Ability to produce accurate and punctual reports, often within tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
Flexible approach in adapting to changing priorities, necessary to support the business
Excellent interpersonal skills in both communicating with and guiding the cross functional Sales and Finance Teams
Business Intelligence software knowledge, desirable SAP and QlikView
Ability to travel 10% internationally.
How you will create an impact:
Partner with Commercial Leadership on all aspects of pricing, including analysis, evaluation and implementation of pricing to improve profitability within compliance guidelines of the contract
Manages the pricing of specific Global Strategic Partner accounts in their entirety including performance reporting, audits, pricing executions, and RFPs
Implementation and harmonization of Customer Pricing Processes across the Globe, including Year End Pricing Actions and RFP Processes
Supports the internal audit and SOX initiatives, specifically with monitoring and auditing routine price changes, uniform pricing requirements and other key terms and conditions as required
Responsible for effective collaboration with the Global Pricing Team including Pricing Operations, Pricing Optimization, Pricing Intelligence and Market Pricing
Initiate, embed, and provide training to improve the pricing culture. Support the pricing team by sharing best practices
Root cause analysis using problem solving techniques and implementing solutions
Proactively working with new techniques and technologies in the market to be best in class in the industry, develop and review pricing procedures and processes when required
Works with Pricing Leadership to manage workload, ensuring work requests are handled by the appropriate team
Performs other duties and assigned
