JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define problems. collect data, draw valid conclusion during the inspection process that meet established procedures as outlined by the repair department documentation, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Inspection and 8130-3 forms training.
• Assist management in methods or actions to rectify malfunction.
• Provide details to assist engineering in product improvement as discovered through the repair process and inspection findings.
•Analyze and interpret fault isolation and operational test data of components to ensure conformance with final product specification.
• Perform visual inspection of incoming customer products.
• Act independently to determine compliance of applicable regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements.
• Produce inspection records, reports or documentation as required per regulations and customer requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge in applicable FAA regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements for the equipment being repaired.
• Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of vapor cycle refrigeration equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical / electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, repair and overhaul activities.
• Minimum 18 months experience disassembling, inspecting; assembling; and testing aviation component / equipment.
• Certificates if applicable.
• Preferably CAAP licensed
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.
