The Senior Specialist, Global Product Stewardship for Radiometer is responsible and drives electrical safety compliance and similar Product stewardship legislation (Battery, WEEE, ECO design etc.) and product safety inspections (UL) in sites in the Radiometer organisation but also at suppliers’ sites.
You will be a part of the Global Product Stewardship department and report to the Senior Manager, Global Product Stewardship who is located in Denmark and is responsible for ensuring compliance to various global legal safety requirements especially with focus electrical safety and Chemical Safety for Medical Device and In vitro Diagnostic equipment. The Global Product Stewardship department is part of the Sustainability function which is a fast evolving area and it foreseen that this job also may evolve over the coming years and you have the opportunity to influence the development.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Be on top for the relevant legislation.
Interpretation of the legislation and standards and establish guideline to the organization and structure the documentation.
Help the organization to understand and comply with the global product safety legislation and Product stewardship legislation.
Develop solutions which will work in a global scale.
Support the organization and find pragmatic solutions
Have the opportunity to influence the development of the area
The essential requirements of the job include:
Experience with electronic components and tests
Competence and experience in working with product safety of instruments, especially electronic safety including battery and Laser/LED technology.
Electronic Engineer or similar
Speaks and writes fluent English.
Used to work with common IT tool. Experience with Microsoft office programs.
Be able to work on your own without daily face-to-face contact with nearest colleague and manager
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
